Take charge of your happiness, find your purpose and start making money. I did it, you can do it too! In 2014, I started Yes I’m a Diva with a prayer and a plan. My prayer was to find peace after going through a contentious divorce. When all was said and done, I was left with the burden of making alimony payments to my ex-husband. I was hurt, disappointed and angry. To say the least I was very unhappy. So I decided to take charge of my happiness. I began my journey by searching for inspiration and encouragement through scripture, quotes and affirmations. I also started watching motivational videos, one of my favorites is Les Brown’s You Gotta Be Hungry. I eventually started a daily habit of sharing something positive with family and friends through e-mails, text messages and social media posts.
