I named my company “Yes I’m a Diva” when a former co-worker starting calling me “diva” after noticing something different about me. Initially, I was a little offended telling her “I’m not a diva, no one has ever called me that before” thinking of all of the negative connotations associated with the term. Then one day it dawned on me that “Yes I’m a Diva.” I love myself. I know what I want, I want the best and I work hard to get what I want. I now unapologetically embrace and celebrate the term. “So if diva means giving your best, then yes, I guess I am a diva.” -Patti LaBelle.
